Elk
📋 A bull elk is a male elk with an antler at least 15 centimetres in length as measured on the outside of the curve from the skull to the tip; an antlerless elk is a cow or 2026 calf; the head of an antlerless elk must accompany the carcass; antlers of bull elk must accompany the carcass in the bull elk season. In provincial parks and recreation sites with a September elk season, hunting for elk is permitted beginning September 10 (p. 19). Elk requires only one draw application; tentative 2026 quotas on p. 16 (subject to change).

Elk
📋 Elk hunting is Manitoba resident only (Elk licence $67.20; Big Game Draw application fee $11.50). Definitions: 'Antlered' or 'bull' means an elk with antlers more than 10 cm (4 in.) in length; 'Antlerless' means an elk that is not 'antlered.' Landowner Elk Licences are valid only on property owned by the licence holder. All hunters must submit biological samples from elk harvested in GHAs 13, 13A, 18, 18A, 18B, 18C, 23, 23A, 28, 29, 29A, 30 and 31A.
