Ducks
📋 Non-toxic shot required for all ducks, geese, coots and snipe (p. 13). Possession limit for all migratory game birds is three times the daily limit; for ducks, not more than 12 may be Northern Pintails or Canvasbacks and not more than 6 may be Goldeneyes or Harlequins (p. 12).

📋 The 2026 Ontario Hunting Regulations Summary contains no waterfowl season tables; migratory game bird hunting is governed federally under the Migratory Birds Convention Act, 1994. The Summary's only related provisions: hunter orange is not required when hunting migratory game birds, except woodcock (p. 28), and the prohibition on loaded firearms in a motor boat does not apply when hunting waterfowl in accordance with the Migratory Birds Convention Act, 1994 (p. 32).
